Deuteronomy 34 marks a significant transition in Israel’s history. Moses passed away. Joshua took up the responsibility of leading the people. The community stared across the river Jordon as they imagined and anticipated what it would be like to come into the promised land.

As a church, we have new committee leaders. We will be electing new deacons. As 2020 comes to a close, we are imagining what it will be like when we cross over into next year.

May we glean guidance from Israel’s past that will help us shape our future today.
