Today is the first Sunday in Advent. The season of Advent is about waiting. It prepares our hearts for Christmas. As we anticipate the coming of Christmas morning, it better prepares us for the Second Coming of Christ. As we decorate with lights and living branches, it reminds us that Christ is the light of the world who brings eternal life.
