How long shall we put up with each other? When is enough, enough?
That is essentially what Peter wanted to know when he asked Jesus, “How many times shall I forgive my brother or sister?”
Jesus’ answer was essentially, “Peter, more than you can count.”
The question we should ask ourselves is, How long should God put up with us? The shocking answer to that question came 2000 years ago on a cross, when Jesus stretched out his arms and replied, “For all of eternity.” How much more should we forgive one another.
