When Worlds Collide

We all have our different social groups: our family, our friends, our coworkers, our church family. For some of us, there may be quite a bit of overlap; for others, these may be very separate distinct groups, and life is best managed when these groups stay just as far away from each other as possible.

But what do we do when Worlds Collide, and these otherwise separate groups of people begin rubbing elbows with each other? How comfortable are you in these situations? Does it make you nervous? Does it make you feel less in control? Or do you see it as an opportunity to introduce one group to another and widen the circle?
