Thomas was disappointed that he didn’t get to see Jesus when the rest of the disciples did on Easter Sunday.
“Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe,” he said to them in John 20:25.
Sure enough, a week later, Jesus shows up and holds out his nail scarred hands for Thomas to see. Jesus hears our prayers and makes good on his promises.
