Sometimes our prayers get answered in such a clear cut way that God’s hand is obvious, and we want to shout for joy from the rooftops. Other times, it seems like all life hands us is snakes and scorpions. Our prayers go unanswered. Instead of relief, we are handed pain and suffering. God seems so distant.
In those moments, you may want to cry out, “My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?”
