Imagine if you were the crew member of the Titanic, who had to go deliver the bad news.  “Captain, we hit an iceberg.  The hull is compromised, and we can’t fix it.”  Have you ever had to be the bearer of bad news?  Did you jump up and down to volunteer to be the one to deliver it?  Probably not.

Isaiah did.  He jumped up and down and said, “Here I am, send me.  Send me.”  Although, he didn’t really know what he was getting himself into until the Lord spoke and revealed the content of his important message.  I wonder if Isaiah regretted signing up for that mission.  But someone had to be the one to tell it.

Like it or not, we often find ourselves on sinking ships.  Life sends us a curve ball.  Bad news comes our way.  Calamity and crisis are inevitable.  In the midst of irreversible consequences, is there a way to still have hope?  Can healing take place, even when we find ourselves on the deck of another one of life’s sinking ships?

Find out this Sunday Night!
