Pastor Phillip Barton has proudly served Dortches Baptist Church since June 2010. 

His love for the Lord and Christ's ministry is paired with his love for his family.  He has encouraged our church to be family-oriented in designing our programs to meet the needs of all ages.

We are glad to have Pastor Phil on staff and look forward to having him serve our church and community for years to come.

Pastor Phil's Background:

• Rev. Phillip Barton was ordained in the Baptist faith on November 2004. 
• He has served churches in Virginia and North Carolina. 
• He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies from Bluefield College, Virginia;
• A Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Bluefield College;
• And a Masters in Divinity from the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond, Virginia.
