In the parable of the Sower in Matthew 13, Jesus explained that the seed that fell on good soil “produced a crop —a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.” When we sow the seeds of God’s word and gather the harvest of the kingdom, we cultivate the future of our church. We do that through the relationships we have when we use those to encourage and invite. We do it through Vacation Bible School, when we welcome the children of the community and plant seeds of faith.
